Tim & Ansley Crabtree

International Campus Ministry

Tim and Ansley are part of the Globalscope campus ministry team serving in Edinburgh, Scotland. In September 2013, they launched “Roots” – a place where students can experience the Gospel through Christ-centered community. Through joining student societies, becoming regulars in the dining halls and local cafés, volunteering in the community and becoming involved with local churches, the Roots team has built relationships with a diverse group of students from Scotland, other parts of Europe, and beyond. During the school term, Roots hosts a weekly dinner event where students gather for food, fellowship and a chance to explore Christianity through discussion groups and devotional talks. The relationships they have begun are already beginning to bear fruit as students are asking to know more about the faith of the team. The Crabtrees look forward to this curiosity growing into avenues for deeper discipleship.

Tim and Ansley first became friends while serving with Globalscope at the En Vivo campus ministry in Salamanca, Spain. They are both graduates of Georgia Tech, and were leaders at Georgia Tech Christian Campus Fellowship (CCF) while they were students. Before Globalscope, Tim worked as a mechanical engineer. Ansley is a career campus minister having served with Globalscope since 2007. The Crabtrees said “I Do” in May 2012.
