January-2016 Mission Report from Valsa

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers this past month after Abraham passed away to be with our Lord Jesus. As you can imagine, I am still recovering from my husband's passing. The Lord has given me strength to move forward and continue with the Mission.

We have been planning and praying for the completion of our mission’s 25th anniversary celebrations. By the grace of God, we were able to wrap up the celebrations successfully with wonderful workers meetings, revival services, baptisms, rice distributions, and presentation of motorcycles from the 7th through the 9th of January.

At the first revival meeting, above 400 people attended. That was a great evening, and so we were expecting 450 to 500 people on the final day of the revival. At the final day of the revival, 650 people attended. We had baptisms on January 9th, and 17 people were baptized. At the conclusion of the revival services, we distributed rice and 2 motorcycles. We also arranged meals for everyone who came for the revival service on the final day. Because more people came than we expected, we ended up not having enough food for everyone. To our surprise, no one was upset because they were all happy and filled with the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord! The Anniversary celebration was a great ministry opportunity and a blessed time at the CEF Centre. Thank God, and thank you for all of your prayers and support!

The team and I will be going to the South on January 23rd. There also we will have baptisms. We are also planning to go to Tamil Nadu and to the Northern Churches in February, where there will be more baptisms and we will be distributing 500 Bibles to the believers.

The Pastors and the church family are doing well, and are happily praising God for each of their lives. All of the ministries are going well. This includes the children's ministry, youth ministry, house visits, open air meetings, and the sewing school.

Please continue to pray for the growth of mission, as we continue in our work toward spreading the unending love of Jesus Christ. Please pray for my travel safety, and for the believers preparing for baptisms this month and in February.
Thank you all again for your continued love, prayers, and support. God bless you, and wishing you a blessed new year from myself and the entire CEF Mission Team.

Sincerely in Christ Jesus,

Valsa Abraham
