Van Drivers are to pick up and take home those needing transportation for services or church-related events. The requirement is a valid drivers license, completed insurance form (available from church office) and completed background check.
Schedule: The serving schedule is set up so that drivers serve the same Sunday each month (i.e. first Sunday, second Sunday, etc.). Drivers are to pick up those needing transportation (information provided by Ministry Team Leader) in time for them to attend Weekend Group (Sunday School) class (10:00 am) and second service. The driver then takes riders home following church service.
Wednesday evening service and other special events - drivers make Ministry Team Leader know of desire to serve for these times and scheduling will be done accordingly.
Bus Driver - Requirement of current CDL, completed insurance form (from church office) and completed background check. Fill out the Background Check Form. Once completed, turn the form into the church office or email to
Schedule: Is done on an "as needed" basis. Used mainly for special events/trips.
Vehicle Maintenance - Clean and wash vehicles on a regular basis. Gas up vans on a weekly basis. Monitor oil change, tire pressure, other fluids, etc. on a regular schedule. Notify the office of any repairs needed so that can be scheduled. Requirement: a desire to ensure that vans/bus are clean and maintained on a regular basis.
