BOONES CREEK CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Trail Life

Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from age 5 to 17 are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.

Trail Life USA partners with churches and parents across America as the premier national character development organization for young men which produces generations of godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. In over 1,200 churches in all 50 states, fathers and sons are connecting, relationships are deepening, communities are being impacted, and legacies are beginning as a new generation of godly leaders rises up. Boones Creek Christian Church is the proud sponsor of Trail Life Troop TN -5624

Trail Life USA is where boys thrive! Adults are equipped to lead a program in a structured outdoor environment where boys are engaged in real-world challenge and experience camping, hiking, and fishing; they develop skills in riflery, archery, and canoeing;  and learn character and leadership in a practical hands-on manner that is naturally engaging.

In the outdoors, the experience of adults is never obsolete; boys find mentors, fathers and sons connect, important relationships are fostered, and boys find opportunity to achieve significant accomplishment.

Advancement Trail

- On the Woodlands Trail, boys ages 5-10, gain knowledge about outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship, and faith through fun activities, awards, and skill instruction.

- As Navigators, boys ages 11-13, gain understanding of their values and beliefs under the guidance of godly male role models through being responsible in outdoor adventures and in their home and school life. They explore areas of interest and earn Trail Badges for advancement.

- As Adventurers, young men ages 14-17, mature in wisdom and faith through more difficult challenges and leadership activities with Christian men walking alongside. They plan and lead outdoor events and large projects while exercising leadership positions in the Troop, even mentoring some of the younger Trailmen.

Detailed information about each advancement level can be found here on the Trail Life USA website.

AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS

American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls ages 5–18. We are proud to be a long-standing ministry of Boones Creek Christian Church, faithfully serving families in our community for over 17 years. We strive to build Women of Integrity through Faith, Service, and Fun!

Mission

AHG’s mission is: “Building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.” Troop TN 5624 embraces this mission by providing a supportive, enriching environment where girls grow in their faith, cultivate a heart for service, and experience the joy of fun and friendship—all while developing practical life skills and leadership.

Program Focus

At AHG TN 5624, we strive to guide each girl on her journey to becoming a confident, capable, and compassionate young woman. Through AHG’s six Program Emphases—Faith, Leadership, Citizenship, Social & Emotional, Life Skills, and Outdoors—our troop offers engaging badge work, meaningful service projects, and memorable events that shape strong Christian character.

Faith, Service, and Fun

Our troop believes in keeping Christ at the center of all we do. Whether it’s learning a new skill, serving our community, or enjoying a troop campout, our goal is to foster lasting friendships and eternal values. Our bi-weekly meetings, troop events, and special outings are designed to support parents in raising girls who know their identity in Christ and who joyfully live out their calling.
